- Heads to 100ft (23m)
- Power up to 100 hp (75 kW)
- Temperatures from -120°F to 250°F (-84°C to 121°C)
- Maximum case working pressure: 285psig (20kg/cm²)

Maso/Sine Sanitary Pumps
The Sundyne Maso/Sine pump is highly reliable yet economical Positive Displacement Pump for sanitary applications. Our exclusive sinusoidal rotor overcomes the limitations of conventional rotary lobe pumps to produce a powerful suction with low shear, low pulsation, and gentle handling…all with simple and fast maintenance and 3-A certification.
Why Maso/Sine?
Sundyne Maso/Sine Pumps have been designed for today’s most demanding positive displacement pump applications. Whether the concern is for maintaining the integrity of the product being pumped or simply being able to handle highly viscous products, Sundyne engineers have overcome the limitations of conventional rotary lobe pumps to create one of the most efficient and reliable positive displacement pumps available.
Value Proposition
Sundyne’s Sine Pumps exclusive single shaft and single sinusoidal rotor are the centerpieces of an innovative, simple design. With a single shaft and rotor, there is no need for the complex timing gears and multiple seals associated with conventional rotary lobe pumps. One rotor, one shaft and one seal equate to simple and economic maintenance.
Customer Benefits Include:
- Low Shear – the gentle, undulating contour of the unique Sine Pump rotor transports your product through the pump without product compression, maintaining your product’s viscosity profile, texture, coloration and value.
- Superior Suction – capable of pulling vacuum lifts to 30 feet of water (28” Hg), Sine Pump’s superior suction capability enables processors to pump highly viscous products and virtually eliminate the noise from cavitation.
- Low Pulsation – The single rotor design maintains a constant volumetric displacement throughout the pumping cycle, providing a smooth and consistent flow profile without the pulsation spikes typically associated with conventional rotary pumps.
- Gentle Handling – Sundyne has set the standard for handling large and fragile particulates without damage. Benefiting from large pumping chambers and the gentle wave action of the sinusoidal rotor, the Sine Pump is unrivaled in its ability to preserve and maintain product integrity.
- Simple, Economical Maintenance – Sundyne Sine Pumps have been designed to be fully maintainable in the field. With our unique “software” design, pump overhauls can be preformed inline within minutes, bringing the pump back to “as new” condition. Gone are the costly repairs associated with sending your pump back to the factory for rebuild.

HMD Kontro
Pump It with HMD Kontro
HMD is the home of the sealless pump. As the first to develop and perfect the magnetic drive for pumping applications, over fifty years ago, we have honed and perfected this expertise to provide a comprehensive range of pumps that all offer the significant benefit of zero leakage.
With a mag drive seal less pump there is absolutely no danger of emissions or leaks. The containment seal is completely glandless so provides the ability to be both user and environmentally friendly. Your EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) Officer will be particularly pleased if you choose HMD.
Meanwhile, your maintenance manager will also like your selection. No seals means low maintenance and reduced ongoing costs. There are no seals to replace and, with components common across the HMD range, your spare parts inventory can be kept to a minimum. Of course, all this also means less downtime and less clean up. |

Application Information
HMD seal/less magnet driven pumps have a host of applications. They are particularly useful in high temperature, high viscosity, high pressure and hazardous situations.
HMD Kontro pumps are particularly applicable to industries such as petroleum, chemical, gas, pharmaceutical and similar sectors where toxic or fine, corrosive or aggressive liquid needs to be pumped and moved. The sealless pump is particularly suited to environments that are hot or caustic, such as those in petrochemical refineries.

Caster Magnet Drive Pumps
Caster Pumps offer a broad range of sealless centrifugal magnet drive, turbine, and sliding vane pumps. Dedicated to technically advanced, hermetically sealed pumping systems, Caster Pumps are designed and built to withstand the most severe process conditions.
Caster Pumps are engineered to safely handle corrosive, toxic, noxious, carcinogenic, hydrocarbon, pyrophorics, heat transfer, and cryogenic applications. Available in a wide variety of metallurgies, Caster has the right pump for your application.
- Flows to 2000gpm (400m³/hr)
- Heads to 700ft (200m)
- Temperatures from -150°F to 660°F (-100°C to 350°C)
- Maximum suction pressure: 350psig (25kg/cm²)

HMP Multi-Stage Pumps
The robust HMP-Series Sundyne® Pumps are end-suction, horizontal, high-speed, multi-stage centrifugal pumps designed for low flow, high pressure applications. The stages of the HMP pump operate in either series or parallel to achieve a broad range of flows and pressures. The HMP series has a proven track record of reliability worldwide in some of the most challenging pumping applications.
